From its humble beginning nearly 49 years ago, to the current ministry where hundreds gather weekly for worship, Happy Gospel Church continues to preach the life-changing Gospel of Jesus Christ and Him crucified.
It was in 1974 when three families from a gospel singing group felt led to begin a sanctuary ministry called the Happy Gospel Center. After meeting in a school gym to launch the new church, property was acquired and a small church was built. Years of successful ministry followed in that small environment. However, all of that would change in 1990 when the current, much larger facility was built on new property, and on a major highway. The expanded visibility and facilities allowed for increased ministry and outreach to the community.
Happy Gospel Church is a Full Gospel, Spirit-filled church that loves Jesus and loves people! Diversity is celebrated as people of all ages and color worship together. When attending Happy Gospel for a service, you can expect to hear vibrant preaching and teaching from God’s Word, Spirit-filled worship that will lead you into the presence of God, and an opportunity for personal ministry. Happy Gospel believes in the present-day operation of the Holy Spirit, with signs and wonders confirming His Word.
Whether you have a young family with children, or are a senior adult, Happy Gospel strives to have relevant ministry for all ages. There are specialized ministries for children, youth, young adults, new converts, men, women, and seniors. A fully trained and staffed nursery is provided for all services.
